This lab jack is incredibly stable and well-built. The adjustable screw-in feet make leveling easy and dynamic, which is more useful than you might expect. It’s also impressively strong, I use it as a platform for all kinds of things, but mainly for my belt grinder while making knives. The precision adjustment really helps keep the grinder at the perfect level while sharpening, no matter what position I am in at the time. This has simplified alot of tasks that used to be a hassle. This thing is well-built, versatile, and convenient. You don't know that you need it until you get one.

First, the good... This lab jack is sturdy and easy to use. The all-metal surfaces and frame are well built and support quite a bit of weight. I did not try the full rated 11 lbs, but it held a gallon of water easily. The knob is easy to turn throughout the lifting range. Now, the bad... I'm not sure how important leveling is in a lab. That's not where I will be using it. But, as shown in the pictures, the top surface does not remain level throughout its lift range. At the bottom, it is tipped slightly forward (in relation to the knob). At the top, it is tipped significantly back. Side to side is level throughout. This may not matter much in daily use, my scale models won't care, but it indicates a lack of precision milling. Overall, this is a nice piece of equipment if your application does not require precise leveling of the lift surface.
