Acrylic - UV resistant with continuous operating temperature up to 80˚C and transmittance of 92% (application dependent). Acrylic spheres are available in clear, white, bronze or smoke.

These are cheaper online elsewhere like seven bucks.Clearly visible seam in acrylic from the manufacturing process, so can tell it’s plastic and not glass pretty easily. Otherwise solid.
