this spring will increase the FPS on your AEG significantly. it will give you better range and you will be able to use heavier BBs. of course, this is only one of several parts you will need in order to improve your AEGs performance. always check your bb speed with a chrono to make sure you are within your field's FPS limits. My replica came from the box shooting at around 290 FPS. with this spring it went up to 330 to 340 FPS with .25 BBs. that's within FPS limits for the fields around my area. I recommend it.
