Although I think that this is a beautiful piece of decor, I don't think that it is actually made of iron. If I turn the piece upside down, it's obvious that the tubes of metal are hollow and painted black, and not made of wrought iron. On the upside, though, this is a much lighter piece than it would be if it were made of iron, and it was easy to mount on the wall and I'm certain it won't damage the drywall. I did use the wall anchors and screws for mounting, but the sconce is light enough that nails could also work, if mounted on a wood surface.The sconce was easy to assemble, by screwing in the bottom finial and the candle supports. I use this with led tealights, and it has a very old-world European appearance, like something from the Medieval period. I can see this working well, though, in Gothic, Southwestern, or Renaissance-inspired rooms, or any room that needs a little extra drama.

It is a very beautiful wall candelabra. It looks great. It has that great gothic look. It is all metal and needs very little assembly, but that is really easy. It is very well made.

My downstairs bathroom has been lacking the charm that flows through the rest of the house, where the décor is full of character. I’ve been contemplating the perfect style for the powder room, and when I came across this elegant, vintage-inspired candelabra, inspiration struck. I wanted to maintain the home's Victorian and antique charm, and this beautifully crafted wall sconce was the missing piece. Its intricate design tied everything together, adding a touch of dark elegance that perfectly completed the look of the space.For those who struggle with assembling things, like me, this candle holder requires screwing in the candle plates and the stem, with no tools required. It's constructed from durable metal, ensuring longevity and resistance to deformation. It's lightweight and effortless to hang with the included hardware. I love the new look and ambiance the wall sconce brings to the space. This item would have earned a full five stars if the stem had aligned perfectly. However, after securing it to the base, it leaned slightly to the right instead of sitting completely straight.

This candelabra is eye catching.Assembly is easy, basically just carefully twist a few parts together by hand. It comes with all necessary hardware, especially the added black lock washers, which can be a pain to find in local hardware stores. Save these for alignment of the bottom column finial (sometimes called a hanger). If, when you tighten the bottom column the finial is out of alignment with the wall, remove it and see ASSEMBLY TIPS below.Simply twist together the long bottom column, the 3 circular candleholders, and you’re good to go. (The candle holders do not require alignment, as they are completely round.) Make sure your screws are not cross-threaded as you install the pieces or you can damage the threads. It should not be difficult to twist together.My wife wants me to hang it in our sunroom. She’s twisted some fairy lights around it and is currently crocheting some hanging plants to place on it in place of the candles. You could also install some electronic candles, or unlit candles if you don't want candle soot on your wall. This candelabra would be great as a focal point in a family room, den, office, kitchen, even at a party celebration or other venue. As a gift, it's great for birthdays, Mother’s day, a Christmas gift, or any other gift giving occasion or event. Or just buy one to decorate your own space. This candelabra will grab your attention with its stature and elegance.ASSEMBLY TIP: the bottom half of the column screws up into the column of the main unit. When you put this together and tighten it, the finial may not line up with the back. A bag with mounting screws and mollies is supplied. In the bag, you will find two black lock washers. If your finial does not line up when tightened, remove the bottom half of the column again, install a lock washer, and retighten it. For mine, that was enough to bring it into alignment. If it is still out of alignment, try installing the second lock washer. Between the three configurations (no lock washer, one lock washer, two lock washers) one will certainly line up. There is no need to apply excessive torque to it: It just needs to be straight and stable. You can add thread lock to the screw threads if you wish it to be more secure, but this is not necessary as the wall itself will prevent the lower column from twisting apart once it is installed.If you use thread lock (remember, this part is OPTIONAL), be careful not to get it on the outside surface of the fixture. If it does get on the surface, carefully dab the thread lock residue off with a slightly moistened cloth, then dry off the cleaned surface immediately to prevent corrosion due to water exposure.

The wall sconce candelabra is great looking ! I like the wrought iron and scrolls very much. It is super easy to put together and looks quite nice on the wall. It is large so it will look really good with a few smaller ones around it to complete the look I think. Overall, it is a nice decoration that actually has a function. I am very pleased with the purchase.

This is actually very lightweight metal, it’s not heavy wrought iron but has the look of wrought iron. I believe it’s black powder coated paint over some metal material, I don’t know what it’s actually made of but it is lightweight which makes it easy to hang. It comes with all hardware needed and only requires two screws to attach it to the wall. I think it’s very pretty and goes perfectly in my living room. At this time I have some flameless candles placed on it and personally don’t care for the candles I’m displaying look wise, but I don’t see how you could safely put real candles on this because real wrought iron would have little spikes that stick up from the center of where you place your candles to secure the candles from falling off. I guess you could use candle tape or something. Anyway I don’t trust myself with real candles or fire in general because I’m a bit of a airhead and personally don’t care to burn my house down while distracted with every other thing in life, so this works for me. I love the look!
