When a customer buys a replacement part, this person would expect the replacement to last as long as the original part. The original lasted 10 years. Surprise, don't get your hopes up here. The Lasco 2-189-1 (HOT) only lasted 17 months. But, you always replace both sides. So total for two piece is just over $30.00. Very disappointing.

The product is very good.Here's what happened. I received the wrong valve in the correct package.TheLASCO S-189-1 Glacier Bay, Plastic Cartridge, Hot factory packaging had the S-189-2 Cold in it.Amazon sent the correct valve promptly at no charge.

Called plumber out for leaky faucet. He says he cannot fix and does not carry parts. He also says I will not be able to find the part. Well I found it. This worked great! Who needs a plumber?!
