Buckles are strong and no slipping, use these on the motorcycle all the time, work great.

Overall these straps are well made and strong. While they're described as being for heavy-duty work, the latch-lock style doesn't ratchet, which means you may get more play (a looser strap) than you'd like, resulting in a less safe tie-down. There are many things I'd tie down with these straps, but probably not a "kayak" to the roof of my car.

We broke a strap trying to drag a log with it.... BUT for strapping down a deer or something like that they have been great! Easy to use and the right length for what we needed.

These are fairly useful. I didn't realize that they didn't ratchet down so we aren't using them quite as often as the ones that do ratchet. It's interesting to have black straps. We have mostly orange ones. I guess they don't show dirt that way.I'm not strong enough to get these tight enough. My hubby seems better at it than I.The material is strong that they are made of.

I'm pleased with these cinch straps. I ordered them to help keep some things in place in my RV during transport and they functioned well. They're nice and long, so I had enough reach to get done what I needed to do. They're pretty strong and I expect them to be durable. They're very versatile, and you could use them just about anywhere that you need to secure something. I think they're a decent value for the money - I'd buy them again.Recommended.

I recently got caught out at the home improvement store - I was buying some plywood and could've SWORN I had some tie-downs in my car. After completely emptying my trunk, I found ONE tie down that had been there forever, and was all twisted up and rusty. I had to balance my wood on the roof of my car while I ran back into the store to buy some straps. I resolved to not let that happen again, and got these to keep in my car. They're decent tie downs for light loads, I like the cam style better than the ratchet style for everyday use. No complaints.
