Fits perfectSeems big at first but once u put it into place and screw it on to jug a few times it goes into place. I found the same product for 3 bucks cheaper on motorsport.com with shipping comes out to 10 bucks.

So.....this o-ring fits fine. It is actually THE CORRECT SIZE!HOW NOT TO INSTALL IT: If you try to install it by pushing one end of the o-ring in the gas cap's channel first and then work your way around you will find that the o-ring "seems" to be a little too big. Don't do this.HOW TO INSTALL: You need to be able to push down on the entire o-ring at the same time to get it started. Here's the easiest way to do this: START WITH THE FLAT SIDE OF THE O-RING GOING INTO THE CAP'S CHANNEL - WHEN IT'S PROPERLY INSTALLED YOU SHOULD SEE THE ROUND SIDE OF THE O-RING. Push the o-ring into the gas cap's channel lightly so it stays where it is and is at the same depth (not deep on one side and sticking out on the other side). If you have it in enough you can now tip the cap upside down and the o-ring won't fall out. Now, gently put the cap back on the gas can and screw it down not super tight but enough that you are pushing the o-ring into the cap further. Unscrew cap and check to see that the o-ring is going in the cap's channel in a balanced way without binding or squishing out. If it's messed up, start over. If it looks good, put the cap on again and screw it down tight. Take it off again and look at the o-ring. Both the outer part of the o-ring and inner part need to be within the cap's channel and not sticking out. I had to get a flashlight and look closely to see if any of the o-ring was squishing out still. To get any of these areas back in the channel just use a flat blade screwdriver to "gently" work it in while you push the o-ring down in with your fingers in that area. Now you can work your way around the entire o-ring by pushing down and get it fully within the cap's channel if it's not there already. DONE

I used these on my LC2 gas cans. Perfect fit, no leaks. Place rounded side down into channel on gas can lid so that the flat side of the O-ring makes contact with the flat side of the gas can opening. Don't over tighten the gas can lid as with most other O-rings, you'll end up binding the O-ring and it won't seal properly. These work.

They just dont fit right no matter how you put them in. If you put the ring in with the round side facing down, or actually up if the lid is on, you can come close to getting it in but its still not right. Dont buy it. I liked this can and I hate to give up on it but I think im done wasting time on it. Maybe I'll return it.

Like the original LC2 o-ring, the replacement is garbage. They dont fit properly. I have to reset them every time I fuel up the can. Shade too large, have to jam/squeeze them in and they pop out regularly.Long term update. They now seem to be fitting and working properly. Shouldn't need to 2 years for a gasket to settle in but now work great.

Fits LC2 cap perfectly. Had a problem installing until I realized I was putting it in the wrong way. There’s a round side and a flat side. Round side down.
