The Hot Pot 2 works great for melting lead for fishing weights and bullet molds. The seperated pot without heavy base has pouring spouts on both sides ensure to pour lead into the molds accuraly.
EASY TO OPERATE AND GET MELTING
This pot comes with a iron plate to trigger switch , When you put the cast pot on the base, the pot is pressed against the iron plate, the switch is turned on, it starts heating, when the pot is removed, the iron plate loses the pressure, and the switch is turned off, it stop heating which is very convinient, you don't need to operate the switch by hand and it's much safer.

The lead heating pot look good for me at the first. when i put on the stove , it’s kind of wobble and unstable for me, plus the pot sits directly on the heating coil is not a good idea for in my opinion. It will easy to damage the coil in the long term use. This product is not worth the price. :(

bought this because I was just getting into lead melting. didn't want to spend a lot on one of the fancier smelters. works well enough. melts lead.

I like the idea however I didn't like it when you left it to poor the lead it stopped working, I wanted it to work non-stop to make more and more work for me. Since I want to make a bigger quantity.

Work well. Just missing the aluminum piece on the handle so heats up more then it should. It will eventually burn up the handle.The seller fixed the problem.

Have used it twice. Melts pewter within a very few minutes. Easy to store and easy to handle the hot pot. Pours great. Input power is standard household wall outlets: 120v, ~6.5A, 700W. So special wiring is not needed. This little heater makes it easy to melt/pour pewter.
