Really pedal-able and still pretty good protection. It won't save you from a downhill-park style crash but for every day trail or enduro riding it works good! It's already saved my knees a couple times and as usual knee pads that you actually want to wear are better than ones you leave at home because they're uncomfortable.I have pretty big legs, and most of the time I use an XL but most brands don't have a XXL, I'd 100% check your legs against their chart. Their fit is true to the chart so don't just go off your typical size.
