Decent floodlight for the price, but it won't work for me.Pros:-I appreciate the simple switched on/off. I don't want it to turn itself on under any circumstances, and to wire it to do so would just be adding cost and including new failure modes.-It's pretty bright. I would say it should be enough for any residential situation. Much brighter, and you would be a menace to your neighborhood. It's about as bright as a single headlight from an older car.-Virtually all exposed surfaces are cast aluminum. It looks like it will survive for quite a few years outdoors.Cons:-The angle! When the lights are in the middle of their adjustable range, they point perpendicularly from the mounting surface. They are unable to be adjusted more than perhaps 30° in any direction. Therefore, if you mount the light to a wall, it will always be pointing more horizontally than vertically, and if you mount it to an eave, it will always be pointing mostly toward the ground. They really should have designed these nominally angled at 45°, so you had equal angle options regardless of whether you mount it to an eave or wall. I want to mount it to an eave, and I want to illuminate about 80' from the building. This light isn't capable of doing that.-(also related to the angle) The friction that it relies on to maintain your adjustment is pretty weak, and not adjustable. Over time, I'm confident that the wind, rain, hail, birds, etc. will move the lights. If mounted to an eave, I suspect they would end up pointing nearly straight down. Mounted to a wall, perhaps the maximum droop would be an acceptable angle.From the description, photos and reviews, I was optimistic it was exactly what I need. I'm building a new large house in a dark rural area surrounded by several acres of private woods and I need eleven floodlights, which are wired to light switches at various windows around the house, so we can look out the window at night and see what's going on out there. I almost bought eleven, but decided to get one first to test it out. I'm glad I did that. I will look for an alternative to this one.

As many others have found, the Ring Flood Camera lights only last about 3-4 years and then they begin to flicker. When that happened to me, I purchased this light and was able to disconnect (clip wires and unscrew) the camera from the Ring box and screwed it right into this one. The wiring was pretty quick (pay attention to how it is on the Ring box...you won't need the voltage converter) and it was back up and running in 30 minutes. The lights seem more solid than the original. Very happy.

They work. And provide light to a darkened area of the yard. Seem to be built well. We shall see how long the leds last. Good product for the price.

I recently purchased the floodlight to illuminate my backyard. Here's my review:Performance:* Brightness: The floodlight is extremely bright and provides ample illumination for allowing my puppy out at night.* Range: The light has a wide, beam angle, effectively covering my entire backyard.* Durability: The Floodlight is constructed of sturdy materials and seems to be quite durable.* The installation process was literally 10 mins with clear instructions.* I required only a Phillips screwdriver, to complete the installation.Overall:I am satisfied with the floodlight. It meets, my expectations in terms of brightness & durability.
