I pretty much replaced the bulbs every year but I think this was due to my mistake in not sealing the housing properly. Before I discovered my mistake, I decided to go with an LED bulb. At first I thought I ordered wrong size because the bulb is much smaller than traditional bulb.But replacement was easy, and the brightness is just amazing. Instead of weak yellowish light, I have a very bright white light and the pool looks just great.One thing to note, when you turn on the light, there is a slight delay (like a second) before it comes on. No big deal, just be aware of it.

It’s been on 24/7 since last summer and still bright. Sure beats the bulbs the pool store wants to sell me.

I replaced a conventional bulb with this bulb. We have a +30,000 gallon pool and one bulb is enough. It lights up a much wider area of the pool, more brighter than old bulb.

I bought this 45 watt LED bulb to replace my 400W incandescent bulb in Pentair pool light fixtures. It installed easily and fit well. I was very surprised by the brightness of this bulb. My pool looks great now. Big energy savings.

Looked amazing in my pool. Now it just blinks every 5 seconds and will need to be replaced. Very disappointed in this product.
