I just installed this in my pool today, and I've got to say, the color and brightness are spot-on. There's a plethora of patterns to choose from, and it transitions between colors like a dream. If you want, it can even switch to a pure, crisp white. The brightness is adjustable – from a gentle B- to a vibrant B+ with the remote, which also turns it off or adjusts on the fly. It comes with two remotes that work reliably from 25 feet away. Using my home energy meter, the power consumption is minimal compared to the 500 watt incandescent lamp it replaces. The installation wasn't too tricky. Considering the wide range of prices on Amazon, this one is worth buying.

Pros: It does work, decent features, two remotes, a waterproof bag for a remote. I need to get fairly close to the light for the remote to work but that's ok.Pictured is blue and green LEDs on together.Cons: Areas that could use improvement:All of the LEDS are a single color, so it has a group of reds, blues, greens, and yellows. They don't change color, they just turn on / off the different LEDs. I thought this was weird because color changing LEDs exist so I don't know why it's only using like 25% of the LEDs per color. Most are still bright enough except red is dim.The programmed presets could be a lot better. Red, Blue, Yellow fade ends up fading in and out on some and insta ons for other colors. Blue and green fade slowly turns one off then the other on. Why not have a setting that always keeps the lights on but changes colors gradually? So as green turns off, blue turns on. Or another that keeps green on, gradually adds another color to it, then turns off the previous color after a pause? That was always 1 or 2 color groups of lights are always active and you'd get smooth color changes. As i said, the presets could be a lot better.Note you'll need a special small battery, sold separately, for the remote. I think it's a 24v but check. Luckily i had some but not many people carry them.
