It works well on my 30lb recurve, but I needed to tie several nots in each end to shorten it to where the bow bent enough to fit the string.

Do not use this if you are using on a bow that is 65# @ 28 inches. I was stringing my recurve for the 4th time and the stringer rope snapped! It let the bow spring, the limb cracked my finger and it shot the limb holder straight up. Do not use on a strong bow, the line will break and is extremely dangerous!

Good thing about this product is that it came on time. However, they sent me the wrong color. I ordered black and received purple which I'm disappointed about. Make sure you know how to tie a non-slip knot because the rope is too long and you'll have to make it smaller for it to work for a recuve bow above 20lbs (which is what I have). The rope isn't that elastic compared to the selway bowstringer so I wonder how safe it is to use on bows with higher poundage...Otherwise, it works so far and the limbs didn't break. I'll keep the product and update if necessary.

I've recently began assembling the bow I use in my indoor archery class. I found the different variation of stringer provided to be cumbersome, so I researched other options on YouTube. This particular stringer makes since to me and is easier to maneuver with caution. However, it might not work as well outdoor, if one's bow limbs are wet due to rain.
