I hade to returned and order a replacement.When the first one arrived we noticed the box was a bit damaged but figured was from transport.Unfortunately when installed it did not work.I ordered the replacement and received it the next day. Perfect.

Great outlets. I put them in every hallway and around the perimeter of my game room. It creates a cool ambience at night in the game room, and lights the hallways without turning on lights and disturbing others.

The finish on these isn't the best. Doesn't really look like real brushed nickel. The nightlight is great though. The price is fair too. Overall I recommend this to anyone that needs one.

A well made GFCI outlet. It is excellent for small junction boxes because the outlet is only a little over an inch deep. The nightlight is perfect for our needs. It lights up the area in front of it for several feet. Would buy again.

I kept going through GFI outlets that feed my shed and pool. I was replacing these stupid things every few months and it was frustrating and expensive. I read online (electrical blog) about a known issue with one of the common GFI manufacturers found in big box stores where it basically trips once or twice and stops working altogether, which is exactly the problem I was having. They mentioned that this manufacturer (Pass & Seymour) didn't have that issue, so I bought one over a year ago and haven't had a problem since. I also added it to another outdoor circuit that had no GFI (just kept tripping) and it's worked flawlessly. I'll never buy the other brand(s) again.

For whatever reason(s), the local big box stores in my area do not carry these in the almond color. Other far away locales do carry these, but I assume that’s because we are an area with a lower median income, so why stock it in anything other than one color, white.Amazon does carry it obviously, so while I had to wait to replace an old GFCI outlet that died (yes, they have finite lifespans, which is why it is good to test them every so often), the price was less than the big box store.Newer GFCIs must have more advanced circuitry in them, since this carries notification of the fact that it automatically checks itself on a regular basis, which is a nice feature. Installation is easy, although like all GFCIs, it is a bit larger in depth than a normal switch, so some wire management is in order during the install.It is not made in the USA, a negative in my book as I assume the US is subject to better QC. Maybe, maybe not. Regardless, from what I can tell all GFCIs are made in Asia, and if there were issues, it would probably be noted by the CPSC.Recommended if you need one, and LeGrand is a well known and regarded brand.
