Absolutely useless instructions but finally figured out how to get the thing to work and release.Calibration as instructed then fit as instructed.Now set to normal mode when you wish to release and rotate the drone whilst in flight the drone must be just hovering in normal mode and rotate I believe either way works on the spot and it releases as it spins the tog spins aswell this is with the dji mini 4kHope this saves sometime for someone.

It does work but its a faf to fit and a bit awkward to use. But I did finally do what I wanted it to do.

Unfortunately I had to return this device and the reason was because it only worked when it wanted to and it’s not allowed to drop anything from your drone.
