This high wall cat litter box shield is exactly what I was looking for.It fits the larger litter box I have with room to spare front to back. Side to side is snug.I enjoy assembling things and the shield was not an issue if one looks at the directions and has patience. I would have rated 5 stars if the very front flap had button snaps like the rest of the shield. Another reviewer used larger paper clips to hold down the flap. The handles are great to pour out any litter. I’m sure it will be easy to clean. My goal was to keep more litter in the box and not on the floor. I think this litter shield will help tremendously with that.

This was a little difficult to assemble. The snaps were hard to fasten (I admit I have weak fingers) and the front lip I finally had to duct tape down because the tabs wouldn’t stay in the slots. Once assembled, the litter box fits in nicely, and I don’t worry about the cats spraying over the top or kicking litter out of the box. You can pour any spilled litter back into the litter box, but if they pee over the top of their box it’s a bit of a mess to clean – though much better than having to clean the walls or carpet! This is more affordable than those high-walled litter boxes. Also, it doesn’t take away square footage inside the box (like the tall litter boxes do). I really do like these (and the cats like them better as well), and will replace my high walled boxes with these as needed. I would recommend them to family and friends!

It's made from a very thick plastic sheeting, all one piece. It comes folded up in a nice, big black, plastic envelope that can be reused as photo or works of art storage. The litter box shield has an instruction sheet that clearly shows how to unfold and reshape the plastic into a box. There are 2 metal support rods that help it hold shape. It has plastic snaps to hold it into shape. The snaps gave me a hard time with my arthritis but after some wrestling, I got the box made.It's huge, way bigger than the litter box itself, so I'm sure my cats will enjoy it more than the cardboard boxes I've been using to stick their litter boxes into. The high sides kept the litter from flying while Happy was digging in it.The biggest issue was that at the very front, where the 2nd metal rod goes, the plastic sheet has cutouts for folds tabs. They're way too weak to hold the plastic sheets together and keep the rod locked in place. I had to get some extra paper clasps from my desk to hold them together. That's why I'm keeping one star for myself...Other than that, I think this will be a great product. Will update if there's any problems.

This came very nicely packed in a box with a handle that I think is meant to be used to possibly store this? It was a little confusing when reading instructions, although the idea is simple. I'm glad I know a little origami or I may have been stuck at some point. Some of the folds need to go against their original fold, if that makes sense. The snaps are nice and simple but my hands are weak and I couldn't snap them. I'm guessing anyone older or someone also with hand/shoulder issues may have trouble with snaps. Other than that, thisnis being used by my 20year old cat who is not going to be with me much longer due to health and because of that, she doesn't want to use a litter box, she started using a pee pad. The pee pad fits in here and gives her privacy and catches anything she would have overshot on the pee pad. This has been wonderful for her and I'm glad I can help make her more comfortable using the potty again. This could certainly work with any type of litter box behavior, and I'm sure that it is a lifesaver when a litterbox is used inside too.

Terrible, terrible, terrible!!! Snaps won’t stay together and tabs at the bottom won’t stay closed. If you have any kind of hand issue such as arthritis it is going to be a painful processs.

The concept behind this litter box shield is great, and I’m happy that my cats' litter box fits inside it nicely. Most importantly, my cats are still using the litter box with the shield in place, which was my biggest concern going in.However, there are a few downsides that make me hesitant to fully recommend it. For the price, I'd expect something a bit more user-friendly. The plastic is very stiff, which made snapping the edges together surprisingly difficult—it took more time and effort than I anticipated. The instructions were also a bit confusing, which added to the frustration during setup.Overall, it does the job, and I appreciate the idea behind it, but it could really benefit from a few design improvements and clearer assembly directions. It's a good start, but not quite worth the premium price tag in its current form.

I got this for my dad, who has 2 very large, very fat cats. One of them was having issues staying inside the litter box as well as throwing the litter everywhere. This helps contain the mess in his laundry room.
