Used them to fill in are that hinge took when a removed a door. Wanted to be able to go back to doo if this idea does not work. Look great, good quality and fit perfect. Just what I needed.

It fit the hinge recess perfectly, nobody will know that there is a spacer behind the door hinge unless they know about it and look for it. The spaces are now even around the door frame and the doorknob can now lock. Only downside was that the screws they send along are two short if you are using this as a spacer, but the original screws on the door hinge were longer

We had a need to add shims to our new slab door to balance it in the door jamb. These are beautiful, solid, and work so much easier/better than cutting cardboard shims. They were just a hair taller than our actual hinges so we did need to carve the hinge cutout in the jamb about 1/32 inch to fit them behind the hinge. We actually used 1 behind each hinge on both the jamb and door and it worked like a charm. We'll be ordering more of these!

I had a door that bound up didn't close. The hinges on the door were not flush on the door.They were set too deep. These shims fit perfectly under the hinges correcting the problem. Remove three screws form one hinges at a time, place rhe shim on the door and screw the hinges back onto the door.

I just took my old door, replace it with barnyard door and have the hinge filler put in. It was good fit there was no problem with it. I have the option of reattaching the old/new door with ease. Highly recommend this hinge filler plate.

Screws are useless for this purpose, but added value. Shims fit 60 year old house's 3 hole hinges perfectly, and I successfully stacked three in one hinge and seems stable (using 3" screws). They are 1/16" in width each. Could only find plastic shims at local home center. Much happier using these. Recommended.
