This is a perfect mallet for the 38" gong that I play. I use a variety of mallets for different tones and attack. This mallet has a good weight that makes it easy to use gravity during the swing to the gong. It's a very high quality mallet.

there are some mold or dust? kind of black things... I needed to dig out. So there are some empty spot.
