Beautiful and easy to assemble

I just got these today. I found them packaged very well, and all pieces were there, including an instruction sheet. There were even two small allen wrenches and extra tiny screws to use to secure the support rod to the base. The lamp-shades needed to be assembled, but that was no problem. In fact, I like the design because if I ever want to cover them or change to a custom design, I can easily adapt the method. The shades are a nice true white color. Assembling the lamp was easy. They are nice looking.I very recently bought a very similar lamp for my desk and it cost quite a bit more than this double pack. I soon found out why I perhaps ahould have gone with the more expensive brand. I use smart tech all over my house. Particularly, smart hulbs in all the rooms. I can control them with Alexa or my phone. I like changing colors and light levels. I never thought of the possibility of these lamps not working with smart bulbs. Perhaps it is the built in dimmer that is the difference. All I know is that my KASA bulbs started blinking on and off after about 15 minites on. Only after I opened the package I saw a note on the instruction sheet that some LED bulbs don’t work with these lamps. Too bad, so sad, me! Oh, well.I may try plugging them into a smart power socket instead. I could at least turn them on and off remotely then. Will update if successful!!

Beautiful. Dimmable and goes quite bright. Was a little skeptical when I saw the shades rolled up but once assembled they are very nice. Usbc and USB ports are excellent. Shades are a sand color but pickup the colors in the room.
