So I was sent 2 different size one is American the other is metric an I needed both metric an the burrs are bad but other than that everything else looks good

I don't plan to really use this for cutting new threads. I work on industrial forklifts and every now and then you find the threads get messed up on the part where the backrest bolts on since customers take it off for whatever reason. They are this size and I did try the die on a bolt and it was perfect. I haven't had the opportunity to try the tap but it should work fine for cleaning up damaged threads. The included die wrench is heavy duty from what I've handled of it.

So this is a preliminary review as I need to use these. I picked this up as this particular size is missing from my large tap and die kit (from a prominent automotive company here in the USA). Thus it was a no brainer to get this one.The handle is probably the weakest link here as it has a single point of connection (single bolt/screw to apply pressure). The metal looks fine but overall I'd say I will stick with my existing ones for a four point connection.The rest of the kit is fine though, I see no quality difference from the rest of the tap and die components in my larger set. Only time will tell how the steel holds up in comparison.

This is a nice set complete with two drill bits, two taps, and a die. The threads appear to be clean and well cut, and the drill bits are very sharp and have a unique shape that is supposed to remove burs. They arrived with no rust or corrosion on any surfaces.
