Been using these to make magnetic base work lights for a utility vehicle. 4.9” magnetic cup base mounted to a rigid type t conduit body using a short 1/2” bolt. LED outdoor flood light (pick from multiple sizes and lumen outputs) with 1/2 inch treaded knuckle is mounted to top of conduit body, with a 110v power cord ran through the “T” of the conduit body using 1/2 inch threaded cable strain relief gland. Switch mounted through the access panel of the conduit body with everything wired inside. 200lb pull magnet keeps them all mounted solid to steel panels on the truck. Currently have 5 of these on one truck. This is cheapest place i found to source this magnet - which is not very easy to find since its listed as 4.9 inch instead of a 5 inch cup magnet. $25 for same magnet through Grainger.
