Fantastic idea and design! T bought this due to shoulder replacement surgery. The open shirt makes it easy to put on and take off my surgery shoulder. The magic with this shirt is the magnets which when placed near each other auto clip together. This is so much easier than snaps. I believe it is well worth the extra price for the magnets. I love them and my spouse also.

Initially (post operative) I and the professional care individuals were impressed with the magnetic closures. Hold on, the magnetic buttons are not so great. Upon arrival, I washed the garment in the delicate options of my washer and dried the garment in delicate option of my washer. I wore the garment for release from the hospital. The garment was worn for three days during recovery at home. The garment was again washed after three days, same delicate settings for wash and drying. Different results this time. Lost a couple of the magnetic buttons that were attached initially to the garment. For the cost of this item, I would expect it to be more durable. Not satisfied with this item.

Magnets are great for surgery. Would prefer round neck not v-neck and material could be softer.

After breaking my clavicle in 6 places in a skiing accident, requiring MAJOR surgery, shirts are my nemesis. Being required to keep my arm immobile for 12 weeks prior to a second surgery to remove hardware, shirts had become my nemesis. Weather it was putting on, taking off, or having access to shoulder area for PT, shirts were a two person job. I tried all manner of modifications to an oversized t-shirt, and had moderate success but still needed help. This shirt, with its soft seams, small magnetic closures covered with pliable rubber and sturdy yet soft fabric genuinely changed my reality. The ease of access without impropriety for PT and acupuncture alone were Heaven sent. I have ordered 2 more to keep in rotation anticipating my second surgery and the weeks of recovery that will entail. Absolutely a purchase I would (and have) recommend.

Magnets seem strong enough to keep the shirt together while doing limited activity. Easy to put on with only one arm

Ordered the XXL for a friend — thinking it would be very generously sized, but unfortunately it was not at all. I’d suggest sizing up. The shirt is SHORT; the XXL seems appropriately sized in length for someone 5’9” at most.The magnets are strong, the shirt is well made — but at this price, and when people are purchasing for very specific needs — let’s not make sizing a guessing game. Would not buy again due to odd sizing, but the shirt itself is very nice.

I ordered a 2X for a relative who had shoulder surgery. The material is a soft polyester/cotton blend and feels like high end medical scrub material. The size fit the shoulder and upper body area and became a little tight and long at the hip area. Material is flexible and allows for free movement of the other arm. The entire shirt is able to be undone, making it suited for post-surgery, when an arm is immobilized. I can see this being used post chest/heart surgery as well, when the entire chest is sore and putting on a regular shirt is uncomfortable. The magnets hold well and at times, adhere to a neighbor magnet firmly, so it does take just a bit of time to undo/redo the magnets. The placing of the magnets is good with no areas of exposure noted. I think it may be a little tricky for a person trying to put it on independently. An extra set of hands is beneficial. I washed the shirt on gentle cycle and air dried because I did not want it sticking to the dryer drum and ruining the shirt. After 2 weeks of nearly regular use, some of the magnets (in the places that were a little tight on the body) did seem to lose a little adherence as those were the magnets that kept coming undone. Overall, this is a great shirt!

Similar clothing with metal snaps are unmanageable with one hand. But this instead, magnets work great. Sizing is accurate, quality is excellent.
