This Magnetic 12-Inch Clear BPA-Free Splatter cover fits over my 10 inch dinner ware in my large microwave oven. However, it doesn't not fit the inside top of my microwave which has a non-magnetic plate in it. I cannot use it as it was designed to be used.

One of the main selling points of this microwave splatter shield is its magnetic, space-saving storage design. The product description suggests that you can leave it attached to the microwave’s ceiling and simply pull it down when needed: “Simply pull it down when needed and place it back after use…”However, the included instructions contradict this convenience. They explicitly state that the microwave should not be used if the splatter shield is still attached to the ceiling. This means the shield must be removed entirely whenever it’s not in use—defeating the purpose of its so-called space-saving feature.For me, this is a dealbreaker. Instead of offering effortless storage, it creates an extra step that everyone in the household has to remember. Whether reheating a cup of coffee or warming a muffin—both of which don’t require a cover—someone has to take the shield down first. In the end, the promised convenience turns into an unnecessary hassle.

Love this... I was always using paper plates to keep from splattering all over and this works great. It catches the splatter and then just run under the faucet if needed.

Covers entire regular sized plates and stick’s magnetically to top of microwave as expected. Dishwasher safe.
