Worked great to remove the impeller nut from a Mercury Sportjet 175XR. Slightly oversized, but a hundo cheaper than the Mercury tool.

Ok, why did Harley need a nut this big...I don't know but they did. I bought this to do my front sprocket, it worked well but is a very tight fit. It took a lot of work to get the hut out of the socket. Overall quality is great, I think the paint on the sides was a little too thick though. For the price, it's on par with every other brand and is a decent value. Hopefully I never need another one.

First, the nut does not slip-fit into the socket. Neither does the threaded bushing that goes on the transmission shaft to protect the threads. The other end is too small to accept a 1/2" ratchet. The reason I'll keep it is it does make a good main seal driver. If you haven't mounted your kicker cover, run a length of 3/8" all thread rod through the main shaft. Use a soft washer and nuts on each end to protect the shaft threads and you can drive the seal in. Worked good for that. Only reason I gave it one star.

Came in quickly. Great quality for the price. Have used it more than I thought I would and is like new. Keep it oiled and it should last a long time
