I'd been looking for a replacement remote unit for a while when I stumbled across this one. It functions really well and has pretty decent range.Pros: This is a quality made unit. You can tell by the attention to detail. It's not just functional, the plastic cases are molded pretty tight with rubber gaskets, the buttons have a strong feel, and even the wires are tinned on the ends. I've bought cheap versions of these in the past, and when you buy cheap - you get cheap. This product is definitely worth the money.Functionality: The remote has 6 buttons, 2 are for start/stop. The other 4 control relays that operate the individual functions. The relays are momentary, not latching. They only stay on as long as you hold the button (except start/stop). There is a light in the remote that lights up when you push the buttons. The start button must be on before the other buttons will work, this is a safety mechanism. The remote takes 2 AAA batteries.The main unit is fairly solid, though the mounting tabs could be a bit thicker. The wire loom comes out of the base and is long enough to get it to a distribution box. The wires are thick and tinned at the ends. There is a key that you use to reset/pair the remote to the main unit, but mine was already paired. It also comes with mounting screws and extra fuses (internal to the start function).The range is incredible. It will go through walls, even metal walls, at the advertised range. This unit will run on 12 - 24 volts.Cons: I would like to see the mounting tabs a little bit more robust. I would also like to see it come with 2 remotes instead of 1.

Clear button feel, rugged build. Wiring is simple, just power and connect. Recommended for utility.

This installs as easily as you would expect, it is made well and seems like it will last in the long run. The buttons have a good feel and press smoothly. It has no lag in connection and works with no issues.

This is a perfect replacement. It's well made and responsive. Installation was surprisingly easy. I'd say the quality is up there with much more expensive options.
