I got this to try out before an upcoming trip to Europe and wanted to check it at home first. Since the plug is for European outlets, I had to use a European to US plug adapter to test it. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if I still had one, but after digging through a drawer, I found an old adapter that worked perfectly. With the adapter, I tested the USB ports by charging my iPhone and Kindle, and both charged up quickly without any issues. I love that it can handle multiple devices at once, which is super convenient when traveling. The size is compact, so it won’t take up much space in my bag, which is always a plus. I haven’t tested the voltage conversion yet since I’m still in the US, but I’m confident it’ll work fine when I’m in Europe. If you’re planning to test it before traveling, just remember that you’ll need an adapter for US outlets.

It works well on travel, as it has no plug in Europe. It feels solid and is made in a very compact design. The plugs come out based on sliders, and the sliders were very easy to use, and you will know when it’s completely out when you hear “click”. To retract the plug you press the button on the side. The converter works very well and it’s better than those plug kits.

Well I didn’t see the fine print where it’s NOT suitable for just about everything you would need it for- curling irons, straighteners, toothbrush, shavers etc!!!! What exactly is it suitable for??? That I would be bringing along in a trip?

Absolute piece of junk. The usb c ports don't work at all. The only way to use it to charge something is to plug another adapter into the plug converter, and then it charges incredibly slowly. Hopefully it will at least charge my power bank so I can use that to charge my devices.

So far this portable converter is working great for us, we got it for our recent international trip, it works great. Used it for the usb ports for international travel. Did not work for us and we ended up having to buy another out there. May have had a defective one.
