I returned the product because it seemed way too weak to have a flag mounted on it while using on the yacht going 15 knots across the channel.

At first I liked the idea of having a longer flag pole that the standard 15" I've seen being sold. Unfortunately, the screw that "holds" in the pole to the bracket is useless. Vibrations will slow loosen the screw and allow the pole to fall out. It happened on my trip, so now I'm out of luck - pole lost forever.The pole should have a hole or threaded grommet in order to secure it better. I contacted the seller and never heard from them. My feedback to them was even deleted.
