This 6-inch motion sensor retrofit recessed LED downlight clips right into your existing 6” ceiling cans. It comes with E26 quick connect, giving you everything needed to install this retrofit recessed lighting solution. It features a PIR occupancy sensor allowing the light to automatically turn on when it senses motion from up to 15 feet away at a 120 degree angle. This recessed light provides 1300 lumens of light output and uses just 14 watts of energy, equivalent to a 100W incandescent ceiling light. This convenient LED motion sensor color selectable retrofit downlight comes with wiring hardware and a detailed instruction manual for easy installation to replace your existing high hats. It can be installed in dry or damp locations, making it ideal for any room in your house including garages, outdoor soffits, bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, dens and more. This LED downlight is UL Listed.
This downlight is color selectable with 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K options, giving you the ability to choose your preferred color temperature by easily using the switch on the back of the fixture. This switch lets you pick from soft white, warm white, bright white, neutral white and daylight so your space has the right light color for you. This 6” selectable white recessed light is perfect for contractors and professional installers as they can always have the light readily available no matter what color temperature is needed.

I've been looking to do dusk-to-dawn lights on the front of my garage and then have a motion sensor light for my front steps. You can't do one without the other as you have to keep the lights on all the time for the garage lights and I don't like wasting the electricity of having my porch lights on constantly. I tried to find these about two years ago and gave up and abandoned the idea. I decided to try again and was THRILLED to find these lights that worked exactly as I wanted. The only bad thing is that they come on whether it's light out or dark so they are used more than I'd like, but still worth it to be able to have light when anyone walks up to my front porch. These are great!!

These were perfect, they turn on when it senses movement. We did disable the switch in the house so it wouldn't be turned off.

It doesn't have a light sensor. It senses motion and comes on even in broad daylight.

I purchased a slight after they fall going out into the garage. The light works with motion sensors and turns the light on immediately so we can see where we’re walking. I’m very happy to have this product light my way.

The light is very easy to install in an existing can light, and does exactly what it is supposed to do. However, when I was looking for motion sensor exterior lights for my porch, I searched the "Looking for specific info?" bar on this product's page for "stay on" to find out if it has any option to keep the light on solid (as many motion sensor lights do) and the answer I got was, "This light has a motion sensor that keeps it on for 30 seconds after motion is detected. For prolonged lighting, it can be set to manual on mode." So I ordered two of them. I didn't discover until after installing them that this information is AI generated and is definitively false - there is no mechanism to keep these lights solid on (confirmed that with the manufacturer). They will do for my purposes for now, but I wouldn't have ordered them if I had known the information amazon provided on the product was derived from ridiculous AI and was completely wrong.

This light works great. It was easy to install.The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that any time it senses motion (daylight or dark) it comes on. I would have preferred if it only came on when sensing motion after dark. This did not stop me from ordering a second light for another fixture in my house.
