Value Without Compromise: Installer Series from MBRP brings you the best of both worlds. Designed and constructed to the exact same specifications as MBRP's Pro Series you can expect the same improvements in torque and horsepower and the same awesome sound as MBRP's top of the line products. The difference is the heavy duty aluminized steel construction saves you money without compromising on performance. As aluminized goes MBRP's truly is superior to many other similar products on the market. Heavy sixteen gauge is one reason, another is that MBRP's systems have a thick protective coating of aluminum silica on the seams - an area that is often left exposed to rust. MBRP is so certain of MBRP's Installer Series products that MBRP back them with an industry leading 3 Year Warranty. Built to Perform: These days MBRP expects the vehicles to provide reliable, comfortable and efficient transportation. Your MBRP performance exhaust is designed to make sure that happens without fail. Its ability to accelerate the removal of hot contaminated exhaust gases results in a cooler better running engine. That means more torque, more horsepower, improved fuel mileage and reduces the risk of pre-mature breakdown or lubricant deterioration. The Premium Difference: In an industry with its share of "commodity" exhaust products MBRP stands apart as a manufacturer of truly quality performance exhaust systems. Through MBRP's in house customer service team as well as the professionals who distribute and install MBRP's products you can count on your MBRP experience to be an enjoyable one. Easy Installation: MBRP systems are as much fun to install as to drive with on your truck. Bolt-on, no weld design makes installing this on your truck a no hassle one to two hour project. Everything is direct fit to the OEM hangers and you get all the clamps and parts you will need, all in one box, no matter what configuration of truck you have.

I purchased this a year ago. First of all when it arrived it was bare metal. Not aluminized painted or powder coated in anyway. That didn’t really bother me though so I installed it. The install was quick and easy. Everything fit perfect. The muffler itself had some slag from the welds in it you could hear it. Being impatient and wanting a new exhaust I put the muffler on anyway. It sounded really good ideling but I wasn’t too big on the sound at 55mph it almost sounds like the cats are clogged. I’m writing this review a year later because the welds have broke inside the muffler and it makes a horrible skreeching sound when in drive at idle. It is for sure coming from the muffler. Now it’s driving me insane so it gets a poor review.

First off it is not black. I have a 2008 GMC sierra extended cab and it fit perfectly! Taking the stock exhaust off was really the only pain that I encountered. Had to grind and punch out the stock bolts. Read the directions because I missed the part where it says not to tighten anything till the end and that caused some fitment trouble. Sounds real good too.***here I am a year later and the resonator tubes broke in the muffler and now it has a loud annoying rattle. Resonators are only tack welded in place. Don't recommend this.

Do your research before buying any exhaust. I was going to get dual flowmasters for my 08 silverado, but since these newer trucks are so "opened up", that would actually hurt the performance. This exhaust does sound good on my truck, but if you want that deep, loud sound, you're going to have to sacrifice performance. I give it 5 stars because of easy install, nice sound, and keeping factory performance, if not added performance. Check out YouTube videos to hear what it sounds like.

Fit was almost perfect. Nice exhaust verga tip. Installed fairly easily and quickly. It's been about 5 months since I've installed it and now there is a VERY noticeable rattle coming from inside the muffler. When I received the exhaust kit it did not look anything like the badass black pic in amazon. I've tried to retorque the clamps and install new rubber exhaust hangers...but that damn rattle!! I'd like to just replace the muffler and keep the rest of exhaust kit but have not received any help from Amazon,Or MBRP. I didn't really notice any performance orMileage gains. I have a K&N intake kit, AirRaid throttle body spacer, the MBRP exhaust, a corvette tranny servo, AND an Edge performance tuner. I've got a 2008 Silverado 4.8L 2WD, ext cab LT1 trim, 2Inch leveling kit, 285/70/17 BFG Rugged Terrain tires. The performance could still be better even with all of the mods. I'm wondering if my programmer isn't fully doing it's job. If anybody has advice or info or a forum, I could use someHelp. As you can see from the photos, not badass I'm color. The only black is the exhaust leaking and tainting the dull aluminum. Also, the rear most hanger nub doesn't quite fit into the rubber hanger. Plus the exhaust tube makes contact with the spare tire. If I had to do it all over again I'd have bought a Gibson or just swapped out the stock muffler for a magma flow muffler and kept the stock exhaust, apparently stock exhaust is tuned pretty well for the truck and the magma flow muffler, like an S Chamber, would have offered much more back pressure which, if I'm not mistaken, creates more torque. Again, any performance tips/suggestion are welcomed. And if I get a new muffler I willUpdate this

I like the sound this puts out. Didn't change my mpg at all, I think it needs an intake. Above 50 mph it hums a little and when the flex fuel kicks in & out around 2000/2500 rpm it can get annoying. Sold the truck but I think an intake would've helped the issue.

I purchased thus exhaust for my 2008 GMC Sierra crew cab. first off they sent me the wrong color but I was fine with the chrome instead of the black. installation was a bit of a pain in the neck. took about two hours because I couldn't get the stock exhaust off. other than that the mbrp went on easy. it has a really good tone. not to loud just a deep rumble. all in all ill give it a 4 outa 5
