I have looked at crochet bowls and they just didn't fit what I needed. This only holds one skein, but it protects that one skein. It feels kind of cheap, but that's okay with me. It does what I need it to do. Zipper works great. I will order another one for sure.

It was too narrow for a larger roll of yarn. If you making a big project this will not work.
