I'm trying to switch from majority polyester and nylon undershirts, to natural materials. But it's been so hard to find something that's comfortable, fits right and uses natural materials. But this really nice soft Merino wool blend t shirt checks all the boxes. It has a nice fit, it's soft and seems to be built to last. I bought a couple of these t shirts and after trying them on, I bought a couple more. They're soft, breathable and well constructed. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a nice soft well fitting and comfortable Merino wool blend t shirts. They fit and feel much better than even the 100% Merino wool Merino-tech t shirts. These ones are not itchy at all. Just buy one, or two, you won't regret it! 👍

Does not look as slick as some of the other brands, but it is comfortable and soft. True to size. No unpleasant odor. Will see how it lasts after washing.

Bought for my son and he has since gotten rid of most of his other t-shirts. Loves these and asked for more for his birthday. They drape nicely and he says they keep his temperature perfect.

I love wool these days, but this one is a little scratchy like your grandpa's wool. These days merino wool can be softer than cotton.

I have a lot of merino clothing and usually stick to 100% merino. But, bc it’s nylon vs polyester (which I NEVER wear), I gave it a shot. Worked well and wicked moisture. It also fits nicer than a smart wool imo. For the money, Toats worth it, despite being a blend.

Cut, fit, and colour are all nice. My only issue was that the material felt a little itchy/scratchy when I tried it on. After I washed it (in the hopes that it would help with the itchiness) I wore it and found that it was mildly uncomfortable for my sensitive skin.I've own merino wool shirts before and here are my findings:Minus33 - 100% merino, silky smooth and soft, developed holes in 1yWooly Clothing - 100% merino, silky smooth and soft, developed holes in 5moZSOSBA - 85 merino/12 nylon/5 spandex, slightly itchy even after a wash, new so no longevity reportMountain Warehouse Summit II - 50 merino/ 50 polyester, very itchy after a wash, no longevity report because I returned it due to itchy/scratchy feel.I will not be returning this ZSOSBA shirt because I've already washed and worn it. As you can see from my past experience that my 100% merino shirts have worn away in a year or less and I purchased it in the hopes that a merino blend with synthetics would help with the longevity of the garment. I'm not sure why the synthetic blends make it feel itchy/scratchy because I have 100% polyester shirts (DriWear) that are not itchy at all. I'll use this shirt (with mild discomfort) to test its performance and longevity and report back.Overall, it feels better than the Summit II but not as nice as the 100% merinos from the past. Those with less sensitive skin than me will probably find this shirt just fine.

I'm a professional outdoor instructor and working dog handler based out of the Pacific Northwest. Like many out here I'm a wool enthusiast and it's a mainstay of my layering systems. I was pleasantly surprised by this wool blend baselayer. It has good performance for a decent price. There are many other higher performing options with more sophisticated wool blends or higher quality 100% wool fabrics, but all of them come with this steep price premium. There is plenty of value in my opinion in having a solid performing wool budget option. I feel like this t-shirt fits that niche quite well.I may be a Merino wool enthusiast, but I'm not a purist. I have zero issues with wool blends and multi-layer wool fabrics. When it comes to budget wool garments, I actually prefer it if they use a blend. Because the blends, in this case the added 12% nylon and 5% spandex, mitigate some of the comfort and durability issues associated with cheaper or lesser quality Merino wool fabrics. You end up with a blend that's comfortable, whereas if the same garment was made for the same price point with cheap 100% Merino wool you'll likely have scratchy fabric issues that won't last as long. I do have several 100% wool base layers that are softer, more comfortable and likely more durable, then this garment, but they're significantly more expensive. So I have zero issue with the 83% wool content if it results in an affordable garment. If that means I get my wool enthusiast card revoked, so be it.The fabric is fine, what about the rest of the shirt? I would characterize it as no frills, but it gets the job done. It's your bog standard set-in sleeve t-shirt design with some unusually good flatlock stitching. No stretch or ventilation panels, no offset seams, no raglan sleeves ect. If you're sensitive to garments with seams running along the collarbone and shoulder (they can cause uncomfortable pressure points when wearing packs, chest rigs and body armor) you might want a different garment. But if you're not particularly bothered by the seam location, you should be fine. I found the T-shirt to be perfectly comfortable during my testing with and without heavy gear.My particular garment was true to the size chart. So if you check your measurements and order the corresponding size you'll likely be fine. It's a standard fit, not my preferred athletic fit. It's a bit more roomier than I like, but this will probably mean it's more comfortable for a wider range of people and body types. I wouldn't mind a slightly larger neck hole but that's a matter of personal preference. The spandex also means you have a decent amount of stretch.I think price wise this is a good value. It's about double the cost of a cheap cotton t-shirt. But for that increased price you get a garment that's much better performing that works well in a wide range of different conditions. A wool base layer is incredibly versatile if one understands how to use it. It's price point is also on par with other wool blend garments in it's particular niche. Generally, as a professional user I tend to prefer to save a little bit longer to get a better quality garment. But I don't feel like I'm underserved by this one and I can guarantee you that it's going to get a lot of wear during my work season. I wouldn't feel bad about recommending this t-shirt to clients or staff members who want a wool layer but are on a tight budget. There's also something to be said for quantity. You might be able to get anywhere from 2 to 4 of these affordable wool blend t-shirts for the cost of a single high-end base layer. And as great as those fancy base layer may be, on tough days or on particular contracts it can be nice to just change into a clean shirt. If nothing, else it's cheaper than a lot of wool socks.

Only worn and washed a few times. Itchy at first which can be a normal thing with merino wool, it will be less. Fitted, like on the model.

The only thing I could complain about is they fit a tiny bit big. Not enough to make buying a size dowm worth it but just a relaxed fit.

This shirt is very thin & lightweight. Fits roomy rather than tight, which I like. It has a little rougher feel than other shirts I have, but it wasn't uncomfortable to wear. No tags in the collar. Seems to be quality made & somewhat nicer than a regular tshirt. I don't typically purchase merino wool, so to me the price is a little high for a short-sleeve tee.
