Side by side comparison with another ice tray set. That set has 3 trays. You can see how much smaller the trays are for this set (the blue trays) and the actual mold for the cubes itself is even smaller than the tray to allow for stacking. The sides of the tray are also very low so it is not easy to fill without overfilling and make sure you do that over the sink as the design means water will overflow on the sides. Other than that, the trays are good quality and the ice dislodges nice and easy. You will have to use more and it melts faster but if your drink calls for crushed ice and you don’t have a fridge that makes crushed ice this is a good alternative.Edit: A newly realized negative. I filled both trays and put them in the fridge side-by-side and the green thicker ice tray actually froze faster. Several hours faster. That was unexpected but the green ice trays are more plastic with a soft bottom for pushing out the ice and the blue trays feel like very thick silicone molds. Emptied the trays into ziplock bags to better show the difference in output.

Works how it should. I love the ease of emptying the ice trays. Looking to buy more trays!

Bought a silicone sphere-mold ice cube tray at the store and had so much trouble filling it and getting its floppy self into the freezer without getting water everywhere. The plastic casing on this one gives it rigidity, and the really smart design of the tray lets you fill the mold up fully without having to reduce the water to a trickle and aim through a small hole in the top (that's how my other mold is).Only complaint is that it does still end up with a bit of excess water that freezes into little pieces on top of the mold, and when I pull the silicone off the plastic the little shards go everywhere and get things wet. Probably just me putting too much water into the mold to begin with.

Das Ergebnis war wirklich toll! Nur ein oder zwei Kugeln waren nicht ganz rund, da habe ich aber einfach nur zu wenig Wasser genommen oder den Zwischenraum nicht richtig gedrückt. Aber die meisten Kugeln sind vollständig rund und gleichmäßig geworden.Ist im Gegensatz zu den Eiswürfeln einfach mal was anderes und schaut originell aus, vor allem, wenn man auch noch Früchte etc. in die Kugeln eingießt. Und super praktisch ist, dass der Behälter zum Servieren plus Schaufel schon dabei sind.🧑‍⚖️Fazit🧑‍⚖️:Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mit derzeit knapp 25€ noch in Ordnung. Für einen Eiswürfelbehälter zwar eher hochpreisig, aber für die einfache Mechanik, die leichte Reinigung und das individuelle Design durchaus auch den Preis wert! Ich vergebe daher volle ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sterne!

The first alternative brand I ordered was soooo poor quality for the nearly same price and it arrived broken anyway, so I sent it back and decided on this one, which I got excited about because 1) it's dishwasher safe (top rack, I believe); 2) silicone mold (tops) make for easier use; and 3) the listing title indicates what all is included AND that it's a 2 pack! BUT when mine arrived (in a very nice box, BTW if thinking of gifting - the first brand I ordered was just in a clear plastic bag), there was only 1. I reached out to Amazon to ask if it was supposed to be a 2-pack and one was missing or if the listing title was a mistake, but the automated chat never let me through to a person but immediately processed a replacement when I indicated it was missing from my order....but again a 1 pack, so I get the sense that the title is wrong, so adjust expectations accordingly. It works nicely to create nice ice globes that are pretty and a nice size for several in a drink. They release easily from the molds and stacks nicely for storage. The scoop is a little thin and flimsy and I don't expect it'll last very long digging in hard ice, but probably months to a year if gentle. My only real issue is that there doesn't appear to be a fill line in the mold, so it's easy to overfill and if using anything except plain water, it gets real messy to set up and when de-molding by popping off ice flakes from the over-filled top of the mold that seem to fling everywhere. This I expect I will master with some practice, so think I'll do some plain ice a few times until I've got it dialed in, so still a 5-star product at $12-15 and a pretty good deal if it were indeed a 2-pack for $20.

Der Eiswürfelbereiter macht direkt beim Auspacken einen guten Eindruck, er riecht nicht, die Verarbeitung ist sauber.Die untere Hälfte der Schale wird mit Wasser gefüllt, dann drückt man die obenliegende Silikonform darauf und drückt das überschüssige Wasser heraus. Nach 1-2 mal hat man die benötigte Wassermenge recht gut im Griff. Die ersten Versuche empfehle ich im Waschbecken durchzuführen.Es lassen sich insgesamt 36 Eiskugeln gleichzeitig herstellen, was für die meisten Zwecke schon ausreichend sein sollte.Die fertigen Eiswürfel lassen sich in der Box welche gleichzeitig das Unterteil ist lagern, eine Schaufel zum Herausnehmen der Eiswürfel ist ebenfalls dabei.Die Kugeln selbst kommen sauber geformt heraus, lediglich das Oberteil sollte gut angedrückt werden, sonst hat man, wie bei meinem ersten Versuch, teils seitlich flache Eisstücke an den Kugeln.Mir selbst gefällt der Eiswürfelbereiter gut, die Kugeln sehen besser aus wie Würfel bzw. haben einfach Style.Der Preis ist mit 24,99.- zwar relativ hoch, dafür bietet der Eiswürfelbereiter aber auch etwas Besonderes.Mir gefällt der Eiswürfelbereiter gut und ich finde ihn durchaus empfehlenswert und ich gebe ihm gute 4 Sterne.Vielen Dank für das Lesen meiner Rezension, ich hoffe ich konnte euch bei eurer Kaufentscheidung unterstützen.
