This thing is amazing. It’s going to revolutionize recess duty when I got back to school/work next week. Until then, I’m driving my own kids crazy with it. I think I need one for home and work now.

My son wanted this for some reason and ask me to help him get it, so I did. I really did think it would be much,just looking at the picture. To my surprise it is better than I thought it would be. It really loud, compact, and easy to use. My son loves it.

Awful product. You couldn't understand my voice it distorted the sound so much. I bought for use with my father who is deaf and won't wear his hearing aids. But no-one could understand what I was saying. Because this was an import I had to pay for return postage which was almost as much as it cost. Won't be doing that again through Amazon, be more careful with my purchases in future.

This little megaphone is perfect when your voice is not carrying to the back of a room. It's not for a stadium--too small, but a regular classroom or meeting room. You also have to be careful your fingers don't mistakenly hit the "siren" side-- a very loud noise. Maybe that would be good to carry while walking alone on a dark street! It works with 4 AA batteries

So, it's got two settings:1. Siren2. SpeakThe next thing, the volume is controlled by a turner.... you turn the wheel.... depending on where you want to use this ... I recommend making sure it's all the way on the lowest volume before turning it on to either setting...In order to switch settings you just have a sliding switch.LEFT= SIREN [] MIDDLE=OFF [] RIGHT= SPEAKERThis has become a favorite where I work, the workplace itself does not have one and did not have one until I came around and purchased this lovely thing. It's been a while since I had this delivered, and the batteries are still going strong. I work with children, it's often loud outside... so when they're playing and we need their attention for an announcement we use this.... or when my coworker takes the older kids off on a field trip I let her use this.All of my coworkers have said they plan on getting one for themselves 👍👏 last time I was kind of feeling guilty cause I purchased the last one in stock.... It was kind of sad to have to tell them that. But, now, I see you restocked it... I'll let them know there's more available.Thanks for continuing to make such a great product!

Makes my classroom management a breeze. I work with preschoolers so they get LOUD, and I’m NOT about to strain my voice speaking over them. They love the siren too. This is a quality speaker, works wonderfully. I would recommend, it’s quite loud like everyone mentioned. I use in on the playground too. Also, it can fit in my pocket! (Sticks out a bit, but she sits in there) lol. Great purchase, get it, you won’t be disappointed, and if you are well, return it. 🤷🏽♀️

One star may even be too much. This Megaphone worked for one use only. I bought it at the end of my docent season, used it once for a tour and then stored it over the winter fully expecting to use it this summer for tours on the Barge Canal in NYS. However, when I took it out for this season, it would not work. In fact, I put in three sets of new batteries. Each time they got very hot, too hot to touch, especially the end cap of the battery case. It even gave off an electrical burning odor. This was very disappointing and upsetting. I called the company to find out if they could help me out with this and was told that they have a strict 45 day return policy. Since I have owned the megaphone for 11 months, I have no recourse. The operator would let the company know but otherwise I am just out of luch. Apparantly, no one else has had this problem. I am not planning to buy anything else from MIles Kimball and I would not recommend that anyone else to do so either. Good thing this was not an overly expensive Megaphone.
