After using it daily for a month, it is very secure, and very convenient. It holds up very strong and never drops my phone. You can also operate it with just one hand. The only downside is when temperature drops below 0 degrees, the mechanic moves a bit slow, not as smooth as it normally do, but you can still use just one hand to squeeze it tight.

Finally a way to hold my phone securely in my car. Holds my phone nice and sturdy. Locks it in great in my heat vent. The phone removes easy. The design is nice. Love this thing.

This is a good phone holder just a bad way to attach it! The weight of the holder with phone pulls your vent straight down. I prefer the suction over the clip on holders.

Vehicle: 2014 Lexus LX 570 (horizontal air vents)Phone: iPhone 15 ProI purchased two of these mounts in December 2024. I have used the one in my vehicle long enough to give some useful feedback.-I like this "updated" version because I think the design puts less stress on the vent blades and provides more stability for the phone.-Easy to install (5-7 min).-Easily moved between vehicles. Good for business travel when you are renting cars.-It will take more time to prove out but based on 30 days of use I don't think this mount will damage the vent blades.-There is some "vibration" (movement) of the phone during road travel. It is not enough to bother me and still quite "readable" but don't think it will be as stable as laying your phone on a table...-UPDATE - When installing the mount make sure you extend the bottom brace all the way down (see picture with yellow circle). This improves the stabilIty of your phone while driving. I am not sure how I missed this when I first installed the mount but I did...-It does block the airflow where the phone sits in front of the vent (likely obvious...).-Once installed I have not had any problems with the mount moving, make sure your connections are tight. I saw some feedback about this being a problem but did not experience it.-The phone locking mechanism works well. I have noticed that it will occasionally not release all the way but all you have to do it push the release button.Overall I am satisfied with this purchase and would make it again (the best test of satisfaction) and think you will be as well.

Ha acabado en la basura a los 30 minutos de recibirlo. fui a instalarlo nada mas recibirlo para empezar lleva una pestaña fragil como ella sola para introducirla entre los radios del ventilador y luego hay que apretarla.Apretarla lo suficientemente suave para que no se rompa o rompa el ventilador y lo suficientemente fuerte para que se sujete. esto fue una odisea ya que no queria romper el ventilador y el maldito chisme se caia cada 2 segundos.la base que sujeta el movil tiene intenciones de poder girar para poner el movil horizontal o vertical a gusto pero esta tan dura que se soltaba del ventilador al girarlo, Totalmente imposible girarlo con una manoel tio que ha diseñado esto no lo ha probado o es muy laxo en su trabajo o tiene el nivel de satisfaccion en un punto erroneo.buena idea, pesima ejecucion

Previously, I only used magnetic mounts for cell phone in my car, but after updating to a new S24 plus phone, the magnetics wouldn't hold it and the phone kept falling to the floor of my car. I took a chance on this type of mount and I'm so happy I did! It works exactly as shown and so much easier than I expected to mount and dismount the phone A perfect fit and very well made. Also stays where you hook it on the vent. Very stable. I can't say enough positive about this. thank you!

Such an easy mount to install and use. I bought this for use in rental cars when I travel, and it has worked perfectly. It fits both my android and iPhone. It is sturdy and keeps my phone where I put it even when I'm driving on less than smooth dirt roads. Highly recommend.

It was ok for what it was, did its job... Was hoping this would last more than 2 years 3 months, so was disappointed. the ball that held the phone facing up was starting to go (would get loose and the phone would tilt downwards) but then i asked my husband to take my phone out of the car, and the next time I got in the car the squeeze mechanism got stuck in the open position so I couldn't secure my phone in there, and when i went to fix it the whole thing snapped off of the part that hooks it onto the air vent. I'm wondering if it was affected by the heat after all that time, like if any of the parts melted? it didn't look like it but I wouldn't be surprised. it wasn't super hot that day, it just happened and it is cooling down here (~80 deg farenheit). I also didn't love that it blocked the AC coming from the one vent it was clipped onto, but it did what it needed to do, hold my phone up so I could see it for the map while I was driving, for 2+ years. I might look for a different kind moving forward in case I run into the same issues. but it was fine while it was working.
