Your cart is empty.The classic Hemi from Dodge has always been a great engine. But even Dodge couldn’t dodge the dangers of engine blow-by. Mishimoto has you covered with our direct-fit, baffled oil catch can kit for the 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 5. 7L V8. This kit provides excellent protection for your engine, keeping the blow-by down to a minimum and lengthening your engine’s need for valve servicing. During testing, we quickly discovered that our standard 2oz can was not enough. The amount of blow-by exceeded the can’s capacity in under 1000 miles! We had to switch to a larger, 7. 5 oz can, so the intervals between draining would last longer and you’d be able to effectively protect your Hemi. Our patent pending billet aluminum 7. 5 oz can has internal baffling, air diverters, and a 50-micron bronze filter to keep oil out of your intake and carbon deposits off your valves. The bracket included in each kit is made of very strong and thick steel, so vibration will not be something to worry about. With it bolting directly to your radiator support, you’ll have a clean OEM look. This kit installs in under 1 hour, is easily serviceable, and comes with our Mishimoto Lifetime . Bracket the give you fits ok but once you put the cannister and hoses on the upper rad hose and a/c lines are all in the way.Should supply a number of off set fittings to rout hoses around .

I previously purchased a cheap attach-to- engine catch can that worked but after numerous empties stopped sealing and caused a check engine light. It was impossible to correctly seal unless it was uninstalled. This prompted me to invest in this. The quality is excellent. Love the radiator mount for ease of emptying plus the larger size removes concern for emptying on trips or in-between oil changes. Expensive but worth it.

Yes this catch can is more expensive than others but you get good quality with this one. It also much bigger than others (holds about 12oz of oil).Takes about 20 minutes to install and although no instructions are provided, it's pretty self explanatory. Hose from breather goes to the can and the other hose goes from the can to the intake side. Super easy and well worth the small investment to keep the sludgy oil from being recirculated back into your engine.

Easy install, took less than 15 minutes. Installed on my 2015 Ram 1500 and dump it every 4 or 5 fill ups. Definitely works as advertised!

I'm still waiting on my first oil change to empty out the catch can, but for now I can say that I'm super impressed with the build quality. No leaks or rattling. I installed it on a 2015 Ram 1500 sport 4x4.

A very high quality item. Easy to install with zero issues. Really impressed with the workmanship of this catch can....feels solid and the finish is perfect. I chose this one because all the other ones i looked at attached to the engine block. Like the fact this attaches to one of the rad bolts and looks super neat. I was hesitant because of the price but as others have mentioned...well worth it.
