I’ve been using this to hand quilt for several weeks now and am here to report:It rarely snags!It also hasn’t broken. I love the color of the ivory. It glows and I bought the light navy blue later.If you’re looking for high quality quilting thread, you’ve found it.

I usually use Aurifil for piecing my quilt tops, but ordered this because I thought it was a comparable product and it was a little bit less expensive and would arrive sooner.I find it very difficult to believe that this is a 50 wt thread. It’s so much thicker than aurifil, and can be felt in the seams. Honestly, it feels even thicker than the 40 wt Glide that I use for quilting.It does feel pretty strong and wasn’t overly linty, so it could be useful in some applications, but as piecing thread it disappoints.
