This works so good when you have really, really sore muscles, it helps to relax you and get your muscles relaxed in soothed.It's not quite like a sauna.I guess because you know saunners are rooms, but it is the next best thing

I’ve used this sauna blanket twice now in 2 days. I purchased it to help regulate my nervous system and to help with chronic muscle and connective tissue pain. My initial thoughts are these: at 5’6” I fit all the way in this blanket with my feet nearly touching the bottom and my only my head sticking out (even my neck is under the blanket). There are zipper openings on the front of the blanket that can be kept closed with your arms by your side in the sauna, or unzipped so your arms can stick out and you can multitask- drink water, read, use a sweat towel, or your phone, etc. it’s a fairly snug but comfortable fit. Like a cozy warm cocoon. It’s designed well so it can be unzipped from top to bottom on both sides which makes it very easy to get in and out and to clean. I wipe it down dry with a towel when I first get out and then use a disinfecting wipe to sanitize. Just doing this it is instantly dry and clean. I have been storing it open for an hour or so after before folding back in the bag. Let me say this, after reading reviews, I was worried that this blanket wouldn’t get hot enough to have an impact. I am a quick and heavy sweater to begin with, and I have been preheating the blanket to 152 degrees then once adjusted, raising the heat to 172. It preheats very quickly within 5 minutes and the temperature is easy to adjust. The remote is attached to the blankets electrical cord but can be easily viewed and adjusted if your arms are sticking out of the zipper arm openings. I spend the whole 30-45 min time in the blanket and within 10 minutes or so I am sweating. By the middle-end I am dripping sweat and when I get out of the blanket it’s filled w puddles of sweat (gross visual but true!) even though this blanket doesn’t reach the heat of a true sauna, it has helped me feel calmer and experience more looseness and less pain. I think regular use of this blanket will help me navigate my anxiety and chronic pain. It’s great to do before bed because it’s definitely relaxing but also great to do in the morning, especially if you wake up w pain. In the morning a cold shower feels great after this. No major critiques just yet, and I’ll update my review in a month or so after more continual use! Amazon occasionally offers coupons for this item and that’s the best time to buy.

This thing heats up quite a bit and feels good. I'm 6'4" and fit pretty well. My wife likes it a lot for when she has cramps, as this product helps to ease them quite a bit. I really don't have anything negative to say about this sauna blanket!

This was my first time using a sauna blanket and I had the idea that I would be able to sit in the blanket while reclined on the couch and watch tv in it. I was able to do exactly that, however the sauna blanket did not make me sweat like I anticipated. I started out around 140 degrees and after 5 mins I didn't really feel it was that warm, so I cranked it up to 180 degrees. After 30 minutes of sitting in this blanket at 180 degrees I still did not feel like I was sweating. Given that I normally start sweating with even the slightest physical exertion I expected that I would be dripping. As my 45 minute session came to an end my heart was starting to feel funny and I don't think it liked that my entire body temp was being raised. When getting out of the blanket I did find that my legs and body did sweat some, but no where near what I expected.As for getting in and out of this blanket, all I can say is it is awkward to do by yourself. The zippers are hard to zip around the top corner without two hands and movement is pretty limited in this blanket once you get it mostly zipped. I would suggest if you are going to use one of these to have someone else zip you in. Getting in and out of this blanket was kind of a chore and not something I would want to do every day.In the end, the blanket worked the way it was advertised, however I found it was not for me. I would rather use a portable sauna tent and get the experience of a steam sauna. I feel like the steam helps open up your pours better than the little bit of sweat this blanket created.

This sauna blanket is good quality! I love the size and shape, I can fit into it and there are nice zippers on the sides.I like that it came with 5 heat retaining wraps to put on top of me after getting inside, which helps keep the heat and temperature in to have a better experience.There is an adjustable setting for between 20 to 60 minutes.This can be set at 86 degrees to 176 degrees F.The thing that I like most about this particular one is that it's easy to clean!I like that it came with a travel bag to store it in when not using.This functions well and I like having it around.
