The 224cc camshafts have .550" main journal sizes. The cams have been clearanced between the lobes and feature narrow lobes. These modifications allow for rod clearance due to the 58mm stroke. The compression release is also thinner to clear the 58mm crank counterweight. Quieted my motor down put 22lb springs may need to bump it up to 26lb but it gave me atleast 30% more torque and 15% more hp only thing i have left on my 224 to do is a flat top piston

Great cam. Fit in my hemi 224 predator motor. I did have to slightly clearance some for the gear. To fit without rubbing. Make sure you buy yourself an aluminum billet rod though. The stock rod will not handle the power of this cam. I installed a nibbi 24mm carb and the mod 2 cam and an aluminum flywheel and it snapped my piston right off the wrist pin after 5 minutes of tuning the carb.
