Center stand itself is good quality. Does what it should. All the bolts that came with it I had to chase the threads. They cross threaded the bolts going from the center stand to the bracket straight from the factory. Bolts were a total joke.

Good product, but has previously stated spend the extra $10 and buy a M10X1.5 tap and and clean off the powder coat off the stand and frame before installing the bolts or you will bind and screw up the threads.

Stand arrived with bolts screwed into brackets vs accessory bag. Obvious that it was returned and put back in stock. Not good. One long bolt and nut had been replaced by previous owner and did not have same bolt head as the other 5. I assume due to an issue with threads. (Almost cross-thread). I was able to work bolts out of bracket clean/lubricate until I could easily manage. Also made sure the other two long bolts threaded into the right side Kawasaki center stand holes without issue before committing.Decided to go forward with installation and not return for credit or replacement. (Thinking next one may be worse) Worked fine once installed.

Overall, this is solid and great product, paint finish is good too.You only need a small trick. This comes with 4 long bolts and 2 short bolts, but these 4 long bolts are NOT THE SAME.2 are for one bracket, and the other 2 are for stand.Actually 2 short bolts can go either brake side or clutch side. (I tried and it doesn't bother anything.)Using for brake side may be better for not touching exhaust cover or brake lever. (but it's not in my case.)After that, take little bit your time and figure out which 2 long bolts fit on the other bracket, and the rest 2 fit on nuts by your hand smoothly.Don't forget grease up spacers. That's it!

First off, I ordered this direct from China but package got lost in the first few days. This all unbeknownst to me, the seller sent me one from their US warehouse and it showed up weeks early. They are really looking out for their customers, outstanding!Finish on the product is quality anodization and welds look very clean. Hardware appears to be decent quality as well, although the threads aren't all perfect and the finish makes for some decent effort needed to seat the bolts.Last off, here is the install instructions you are looking for.1. The plate with the spring mount is mounted on the right side using two of the long 13mm bolts through the plate and into the frame. I had to unbolt my rearsets to get these on because I have lowered footpegs, but I imagine you would need to even with stock.2. The other plate is mounted to the left side using the shorter 12mm bolts through the frame holes and into the plate.3. Then you attach the stand piece by using the other two long 13mm bolts and the sleeves go between the bracket and plate (this should be somewhat obvious). There is a 15mm nut that goes on the backside to keep everything groovy.4. Now, for the fun part. I used the biggest visegrips I had to clamp the spring and muscled it from the big peg to the tiny peg on the leg. Now I bet there's a better way to do this, but that's what worked for me.5. Spray all the rubbing areas with a lubricant of some kind (I used white lithium grease) and you are all set!TLDR: Great product at half the price of the Kawi version. Takes a bit of patience to assemble. Doesn't drag any lower than footpeg feelers so no concern for lean angle reduction. The Z900RS is the greatest bike!

Pros:Build Quality good, especially for the price.Came with everything I needed to install except the tools.Easy to use on my z900rs, good leverage easy to get bike up on stand.Cons:This set REALLY needs a parts list and diagram showing where the various bolts go. They are somewhat confusing to figure out, I think several of the folks who thought they were improperly threaded just didnt figure out what went where.Details: Overall I really like this centerstand and it is well worth the price. That being said, the lacking diagram or instructions took what should have been a 30 minute install and turned it into maybe an hour and a half install and I damn near went out and bought hardware. The PROBLEM: There are a total of 6 bolts and a rubber piece. normally that would be pretty self explanatory except for one small issue. They are all the same size bolts but with slightly different thread pitches. Also there are 4 long bolts and 2 shorter bolts. You also have 2 brackets with a cumulative of 4 bolt holes and the stand with 2 bolt holes. Logic would say that the 4 long bolts go in the two brackets and the two shorter bolts go in the two stand holes. Oh no no no! Luckily I have a thread measuring tool and I was able to take measurements of both the bolts and the threaded holes on the bike. After measuring all the holes on the bike it finally made sense. and here is your answer:The two short bolts go on the bracket on one side of the bike while two of the long bolts go on the other bracket and side of the bike and the remaining two long bolts go in the holes of the stand. Not intuitive and due to them being the same diameter bolts with very similar thread pitches it is easy to mistake that they are incorrect for the bike.A diagrammed explanation would have made this a 5 star review!
