Allows me to get a good boot toe purchase on my brake lever. Pros recommend that you remove the spikes directly beneath your crank case cover. Brake levers commonly are diven into the case bottom when you lay the bike over or run into something on the side of the bike.

This braking pad is just right for my 2024 KTM EXC-F 350. I attached photos of the four I have tried.From left to right, KTM stock pad, Tusk pad, Heigoal folding pad and this Prootom pad.The folding pad did not have the angle required for a KTM and therefore had an angle pointing down instead of flat. The Prootom appears to be strong and extends out so you can easily step on the brake, not to mention it comes with screws which some don't.
