Fits, very secure. You have to take the rear end of your bike all the way down to get it on a Sportster 48, probably because the wider rear tire. Definitely a pita and not a 5 min job.

This fit between fender and frame perfectly removed two bolts holding fender rest on each side and both rear turn signals. Place it down in-between frame and bracket put bolts back in and voila. The only draw back is that the sissy bar doesn't rest down on the frame exactly as photo but it will keep a butt from sliding off, definitely a lot less than purchasing hd brand short sissy bar for sure 😃

I was looking for a cheaper and smaller option than what I found on moto sites and stumbled accros this model.As you can see from the picture, it fits my 2001 Sporty perfectly with just 1 simple things: you will need to pull the back portion just a little.I held it down with my knee, flat on its side, and pulled with my hands. Really nothing to it!Put some painter tape on the back to prevent scratching. Added a smaller washer inside the bolt hole (so the sissy bar is perfectly held into place) as well as large one I painted black.Swapped all 4 bolts for 1/2in longer SS ones (thank you amazon).

I was not sure if I would like the look of a sissy bar, and did not want to spend $160.00 for a Harley brand just for me to not like the look. This is a great alternative to the OEM to find out if you do like it, if not you didn't spent a lot of money to not like it. Item was an easy install no fitment issues, color is matte black. Picture shows how it looks on my 2020 Harley Roadster.

I wanted to love this sissy bar but honestly I wish I never purchased this. The sissy bar is so tight to the fender it scratched up the paint even attempting to put it on. Finally took the fender completely off to see what the problem is and the holes don't completely line up. The front 2 lined up but the back was off. With the holes being off it's impossible for this sissy bar to sit flush. There is nothing easy or simple about attaching this bar. You have to be very careful or you will completely destroy your paint. It does look good on the bike but for the frustration you will get from the reasons above I can't recommend this
