My jogging stroller that is a little over a year old had the wheel come off jogging with my baby! So scary! I took to a professional bike place and they said they couldn’t fix it and the company should send me a new mountain buggy jogger! They said this pin or screw shouldn’t have ever broke! Defective jogger but company won’t help! You can’t even call them! No phone number! They asked for video and never got back to me! Now I’m pushing an umbrella stroller that I’ve had for 14 years, my Maclarren! It’s been used longer than this piece of junk mountain buggy jogging stroller! Wish I would’ve just stuck with a BOB jogging stroller! They are safe, reliable, & a company that you can trust!

Not light weight nor easy to fold. Manoeuvrability is pretty good on flat ground. It’s pretty unstable off road although marketed as all terrain it’s certainly not

I was excited to use this stroller for years to come. It’s an awesome stroller, great to maneuver. However, after just using it for 2 weeks, two of the tires loudly and vehemently blew up on us. The inner tubes are shredded. The negative review is on the manufacturer in particular. I reached out via chat to the New Zealand based company who wasn’t accommodating at all. These kind of tires can blow occasionally but if this happens within a month and under no extreme circumstances I expect the manufacturer to handle this issue differently. They said the US subsidiary is going to contact us but their phone number is out of service and I yet have to hear back on my email and the claim request submitted by the Main office in NZ.Reaching out to this vendor offering the mountain buggy on Amazon also Janet been successful. The amazon feature is to email the vendor but the email won’t go through.

Spedizione veloce, imballaggio perfetto

I love the Mountain Buggy. If you want versatility, this is the stroller for you! This is my second one. I originally owned the older model of the Swift. At the time, we lived in the countryside in the UK, and it worked great for navigating through the countryside. We used it ofter for walks on the rougher country paths. It was light enough and easy enough to maneuver and collapse to also be useful on public transport. We relocated to southern California, and I wanted a new stroller for our new baby. As Mountain Buggy wasn't as popular in the US, I did a lot of research to see what else was out there. Nothing compared! Any minor gripe that I had with the old model was addressed with the 2015 models. The straps are easy to adjust, it's quick and easy to collapse and open and the break can be quickly engaged and removed with a swipe of the foot. This time around, I bought the Terrain as I was looking for a jogger. I love that it comes with two sets of wheels that can very quickly be changed. I use the smaller wheels when I'm out and about and the larger wheels when I'm jogging or exercising. It's one of the few strollers that has a bassinet and parent facing seat option, and it's the only jogger with this option. I don't have an issue with changing out the seats, because I use the different seats at different ages. As a newborn, I solely used the bassinet and the car seat attachment. They are easy to swap out. Further, because there is no seat underneath the bassinet or car seat (like many other manufacturers), there is extra room to store things. This is especially useful when I am out running errands. Also, instead of purchasing a separate bassinet, I use this one for my newborn even when we are at home. It was invaluable after the birth, because I had a c-section and could easily push him from room to room with me as needed. I'm starting to use the parent facing seat, which is easy to convert from the bassinet. I'd prefer if the material of the parent facing seat was nylon versus the cotton canvas, because the material is thinner and not as warm for my little one. However, I've purchased a liner to address this. The tires were a little flat when they arrive, but an easy fix. I didn't have any issues with smell. I also don't have any issues with a wobbly front tire, and I do jog on rocky trails frequently. The front tire does lock if needed (though I rarely use this). It can easily be maneuvered with one hand, and the sun shade can be adjusted with one hand. I live in a sunny climate, so I purchased the additional sun shade, but I haven't had cause to use it yet. Yes, the handlebar requires two hands, but I like this so that it does move when I don't want it to move. It's really quick and easy to put together, and the youtube videos are helpful in case you have any questions. The customer service at Mountain Buggy is 5 stars! I did have an issue when trying to use the skateboard attachment and understanding how to stow it when not in use that the instructions and videos didn't explain for the new models. I sent an email to Mountain Buggy customer service. They promptly replied apologizing for the inconvenience. The instructions address the old models not the new. Not only did they send written instructions, they made a video for me that addressed my issue. They also sent me a new, longer toggle to stow the skateboard. Even further, they followed up to make sure I was happy with their reply. To sum it up, if you budget allows, this is the brand to buy!

I am a pretty serious runner and recently had a baby so I did a TON of research on the running stroller to buy. I narrowed it down to the 2016 BOB Pro and the Mountain Buggy Terrain. I decided on the Mountain Buggy, Terrain here's why.Handling:My baby isn't old enough for me to run with her yet but all research I did indicated the Mountain Buggy wins in this area. In the walking that I've done it is so smooth to push. The MB is designed to be able to pop the front tire up a bit to navigate easier when it's locked (for running). This may make it easier to run with but I do find that for walking it makes the stroller a bit back heavy. I wouldn't trust hanging my diaper bag across the back and adding that weight there for example.Assembly:The BOB was super easy to assemble. The Mountain Buggy was a total pain to put together, the directions had no words. The tires on the BOB came fully inflated but the MB's were not. The MB drum break didn't work properly out of the box. Also the Mountain Buggy STUNK for a while. The Basket:The Mountain Buggy's basket zips shut on three sides. This seems very important when you're running off road so your things don't bounce out. It would also be useful for a little added privacy on a Disneyland type trip since people leave their strollers outside of rides.Wheels:The Mountain Buggy comes with two sets of wheels, 12" for day-to-day and 16" for running. The Mountain Buggy also can lock the front wheel forward or backwards based on your preference when you run.Fold:The Mountain Buggy folds more compactly than the BOB Pro but this isn't my favorite feature of the Mountain Buggy. The fold mechanism is under where the kid's feet go. The fold also results in the handle being on the ground. I haven't figured out how to gracefully unfold the stroller either. The Mountain Buggy is advertised as being a one hand fold but that's not really true since you have to fold the handle bar down first. The fold of the BOB is also a bit clunky and you have to clip it to lock it. The Mountain Buggy locks on its own.Canopy:The BOB canopy wins in this category. The canopy on the BOB is huge, it gives great coverage for the kiddo. The Mountain Buggy has a "follow-the-sun" canopy meaning it can push all the way forward but then you lose coverage in the back because it's not as big as the BOB's.Compatibility:The Mountain Buggy is more like a naked stroller frame that can be used with three different seat types. You can completely remove the seat it comes with and just use the car seat or the carrycot which is both a pram and parent facing seat. If you're traveling and want the stroller seat and car seat you can also leave on the stroller seat on and attach the car seat. Since the MB seat can be completely removed this makes cleaning it easier. It also has a padded liner (the fabric with the design) that is very easily removed for easy cleaning.Harness:The BOB wins for harness. The BOB's harness is a no rethread harness meaning you don't have to fiddle and un-do anything in the back. The harness on the BOB is really an ingenious design to adjust the height. The Mountain Buggy's harness is strange and I haven't been able to figure out how to adjust it easily.Recline:Both strollers recline to a fully flat position suitable for walking with a newborn.Extras:While the BOB Pro is cheaper than the Mountain Buggy after you factor in the extras you need to buy for the BOB (handlebar bag and snack tray) they come out to be about the same price. The Mountain Buggy comes with more pockets to store your stuff and comes with two parent water bottle holders. The snack tray for the Mountain Buggy is also much much cheaper.Customer Service:BOB is owned by Britax. I've owned several Britax car seats and have had nothing but fantastic customer service with them so I can only imagine the BOB CS is equally as great. I contacted Mountain Buggy because the hand break doesn't work on one of wheels. The wheel was also super squeaky. MB sent me instructions on how to adjust the break but honestly it's confusing and I really wish that for as much as I spent on this stroller it would have just worked from the beginning.I'm very happy with my Mountain Buggy! I know a few professional runners who have the MB so that was really all that I needed to know to make my choice :).
