Great piece for my Gen V 454 with only one port available on my intake manifold. Do due having aftermarket headers, the normal ports that you could use in the block are not accessible. This made my addition to add a sensor for my electric fans easy and looks good.

nice idea for adding a temp sensor but man what a pain this is on a '67 327. cheap is what you get. it felt like it had gravity in the package, come to find that half the weight was all that oversized plastic packaging, and 2 little bolts and an o-ring deceiving you. you'd swear this wasnt even pot metal but some chromed plastic. it is super light and feels like you will crack it doing any threading/bolting on it. is this thing even at least designed by real pre-internet american posterity who made the machines, the systems, THE MODEL WORLD this item is applicable to (i.e. before the massive dilution by post internet era floods of envious american emulators)? all the dimensions are off. the neck rotation is not the same as stock and so interferes with the oil filler neck and you cant get the hose on it. you need to change it or mash in the filler wall with a hammer to make room for a hose. the bolts it comes with are like nickel plated meh. and equal length, not the same as stock with a short & a long. and one of them bottoms out in the stock manifold so you need to put washers to fill the gap to tighten snugly. ghetto. the o-ring is barely over the size of the bottom surface plane so you need a pretty smooth o-ring surface to mount to. a few cents more for a little fatter oring would have inspired more confidence, although it hasnt leaked with being tightened as much as is safe with its other issues. there is no tab hole for the stock rochester accelerator return spring so you need to buy a different mount for that. the bung hole for a sensor is not offset and points right at the thermostat inside, so a sensor with any length will hit the top of the thermostat inside. you need to play games with threaded spacers and excess teflon tape to minimize sensor depth. tarded but what can we do? we're at the mercy of these globalist moneymen and their armies of mindless pwnd flawed western culture emulators, university memorizers, and "MBA's", enforcing endless growth economics, contrived problems to create economy, and planned obsolesence and such.

Needed a easy location to mount the sending unit for the new electric fan conversion for my SB 69 Chevelle. The water neck seemed a little fragile and I was concerned about having to really cinch down on the sending unit that can not use tread sealer. It took a while, but coolant stopping leaking from the threads after applying considerable torque. The water neck held up fine. BTW, it looks fantastic!

The metal on this water neck is very thin and does not look like it will last very long. It appears to be subject to warping and distortion.
