This tower was easy to assemble and has smoothly finished edges, which gives it a clean, polished look. It feels relatively sturdy and folds flat for convenient storage. The retention knobs for the top bar could be easier to operate, but they do hold firmly once set, so no real complaints there. It’s lightweight, but reinforced in the key areas where it matters most. Overall, a solid and functional piece of gear.

This is a really nice toddler tower that feels sturdy and has adjustable heights. It wasn’t difficult to follow the instructions to put together and took about 20 minutes. The folding aspect was most appealing about this tower so that it could be out of the way when not in use, however the design of our tower doesn’t allow this because when you lift up the standing platform, the legs need to open a little wider so that the platform can follow the channel cut into the legs to allow easy folding. As is, the legs are maxed out and do not allow the platform to stow away without lots of scraping and stress that could result in damage. We followed all the instructions and made sure all the bolts were torqued correctly. I really like the concept of folding but wish it would do so easily. Also, to adjust for height, you have to remove some bolts and move the platform so there is no quick adjust( that’s not a problem, just good to know). The top bar goes up and down which my toddler uses to hang onto while going up or down or I lift it up for her to go under. It feels stable front to back and side to side so I’m not afraid of it tipping over with her on it. She really enjoys using it in the kitchen to help anytime I am cooking or washing dishes. The white and natural wood colors give a neutral look that I like. All in all, I like this folding kids tower for how sturdy it is but don’t like that it won’t easily fold up to store in between uses.

This tower is fairly sturdy and folds for storage. Tower has 3 height mounting points for the platform to allow adjustment as your child grows. There is a safety bar that folds and locks into place with wooden dowels. I removed one star as the dowels are a little difficult to lock/unlock and do not have a good good feel for when they are locked (have to pull up on the safety bar to confirm it is locked into place). I would recommend this product.

My 2-year-old loves being at the counter with me while I cook. This tower is sturdy, folds easily, and doesn’t take up much space.

We have a small kitchen, so the foldable feature is a lifesaver.

I really wanted to love this, and if I just put it together and didn't actually try to use it, I might have rated it five stars. Sadly, I discovered some major flaws and safety hazards. Let's talk about those:The primary locking mechanism for the swing over gate are two wooden peg like pieces that look like corks. You push them in to lock when the bar is down and pull to release. unless you have the perfect tension dialed in at the hinge joints (instructions say "tighten to 70%"), this locking and unlocking doesn't always work and is clunky at best. When the bench is folded up, there is NO locking mechanism to keep it closed (or open for that matter). A simple swinging pin lock would fix this and feels like a major oversight. Why? Because when folded, it looks like a ladder. A child could easily be caught in it as it opens and falls to the ground. The biggest safety problem I found is that it is very easy to install the platform where the child stands incorrectly and unsafely. The instructions are not clear about where this piece needs to be seated for the sliding closure to work, and it will feel solid and stable if you do what I did and leave the front slightly behind the sliding joint. It will seem stable until you realize that the entire weight of the child is then placed on the ~1" thick and 2.5" wide crossbar. That is an accident waiting to happen. I have included photos of the instructions which don't show that connection point and how to avoid making this serious error.Furthermore, I noticed that two pieces (one at the hinge point were already cracked). Overall, I cannot recommend this product unless you are handy and willing to make some safety modifications on your own. I hate to say that as it is mostly solid wood and took me only 45 minutes to assemble by myself. I will be investing more time in safety.

Our daughter is a rambunctious toddler, and she's grown to love helping mommy and daddy with everything we do. Recently I was doing work in the house and was using a 7 foot A-Frame ladder. Of course, she wanted to use it too, and she did with my help. She loves it and asks to climb it all the time, but i don't want to bring it inside from the garage. My wife got her this stand so she can use it with me when I'm using the ladder, like again today while changing out some light fixtures. She was on her ladder, I was on mine, it was fun to have her "helping."Putting it together was a mild PITA. The instructions are only accurate half the time. But for anyone with a bit of handiness and common sense, you should be able to figure it out. There were extra parts, which was nice. One of the rotating arms came cracked, not nice. It took my daughter and I about 20 minutes to put it together. We had fun.Now she can help daddy on ladder projects, and she likes washing her hands or helping prepare food with mommy and daddy. It's a solid 4 star product!
