MSD has been known for quality distributors, caps , rotors etc. but disappointed in the new caps. Originally all there caps have had brass contacts but now that the price has gone up significantly on many thing including this cap I find out that they did not add brass contacts instead plated steel contacts like a cap for some 1971 Pinto or something. Won’t last nearly as long as brass. Also the cap adapt I have on my street rod from 12 years ago is different from this one I purchased as in the holes for the rotor are slightly off so I had to lightly file the center of the one side of each hole to get the screws to fit my old cap adapt. MSD needs to consider their customers and sell quality Chinese goods instead of Auto zone Chinese goods.
