Wonderful MSR riding apparel, comes with armor in the jacket and in the trousers. Plenty of air flow, rain proof, great comfort and durability. Fit is true to their size chart, if you wear a large get a large. I will be wearing the LEATT 6.5 body armor under the MSR jacket as well as the LEATT 5.0 impactshorts. Safety when riding adventure motorcycle on and off road is paramount and should not be overlooked. Do your research and buy the best that you can afford. Get out and ride dirty, stay safe.

Like the jacket the material is like plastic and not very flexible. The knee pads don’t line up with my knees so I removed them. Definitely water proof. Overall not bad

Feels like high quality, fits well. I really like that the whole thing is waterproof and they don't bother with all the crappy zip in liners. Two things that I don't like and keep me from giving it 5 stars. One is how stiff the whole thing feels. I took the knee armor that came with it out (it was insanely stiff) and put some D3O inserts I had in it. I'm hoping as I use it more it'll break in and loosen up a bit, it crinkles and makes a lot of noise walking around, but while riding it's great. The other thing is putting them on. Holy crap. I do squats occasionally, and I basically have to shove my knees together and wiggle these on past my thighs - and that's after I sized up (34T)! Once they go all the way up, they cinch down ok and fit great. I think part of the reason is that the crotch has a waterproof gusset to keep you dry in the rain I guess. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to cut the thing off so I can use the bathroom and see if helps with putting them on.Huge vents on the sides should help keep me cool once spring rolls around.
