The internal taper on the MT4-MT2 adapter is at least 1/2" too shallow. That means a regular-length MT2 taper bottoms out before it seats. The only way to use the adapter is cut off a bit of the end of your MT2 taper. That will make it seat fully, but then the back of the MT2 taper doesn't meet the slot on the adapter, so you're not getting the two apart with a taper drift like you should be able to. Save up a couple more dollars and buy a different one.
