Price during review- $24.99Got this hoping to turn any container into a candle. That's not quite true though. For any such product, using a flame safe material is key. I actually had a beautiful thrifted wooden bowl I wanted to try but I no longer thinking that is a good idea. First the "sand" is just that - grains that can and do fall everywhere unless you're careful, so something like a votive rather than a bowl works better. I do feel the sand liquefied quickly and the flame was not as controlled as a regular candle. I brought it out last week, to use with a massive stone outdoor candle bowl that I used up last year. It worked much better I felt and I can see how as I figure out the burning speed and the nature of the sand, I can slowly learn to use it in more places. On the whole worth the money once you learn how to use it. Recommended.
