I have had great success with these low side piercing taps.They were easy to install and they have all the adapters needed for 3 different sizes of tubing.The R12 /R22 to R134A conversion adapter is a nice feature as well.The kit comes with everything you need including the adapter, dust cap, Allen wrench and 2 line size adapters.The line size adapters tab into the valve body and each other so they stay snugly in place during installation and cannot slide out.The piercing valve itself has what looks like a green nitrile o-ring that gets compressed to the copper tubing as the valve is tightened onto the tubing.The Allen wrench provided fits all 3 bolts and is also used to pierce the tubing and to open and close the valve.The units functioned well, and were easy to install.Inexpensive and delivered quick! Job done!

These worked perfect for tapping into the the low side on sealed systems for testing/charging. Comes with two valves, the spacers to adapt down from 3/8, 5/16, and 1/4 lines for both, two r134a quick connect adaptors, dust caps with orings and a hex key. Price is inline with others and about what you’d expect to pay for these. Of note, they do not have the typical gasket seal for the tubing, they have a tiny green oring seal around the needle. I don’t know how long one could expect to leave one in service.
