Arthritis is a pain. Opening cans and bottles gets to be more of a challenge as we get older. This clever gadget is essentially a wrench for opening bottle and jar lids. I recommend you also get a rubber disk or cone grabber to help hold the bottle or jar while using the opener gadget. Also has a tab-puller for soda cans, cat food, etc. Also a corkscrew, church key, and a couple of small tabs that can pry up the edge of a plastic container top like those found on yogurt or cottage cheese tubs. Very handy. Only gave 4 stars instead of five because it's plastic and not sure how well it will hold up over time.

This multi-functional can/bottle/jar opener arrived in a small cardboard container that includes an instruction pamphlet. The pamphlet describes how to use the product, and the pictures helped me figure out how to use it to open larger jars and bottles. The use of the cork screw, beer bottle opener and can opener is reasonably straight forward and does not require any instruction.The jar opener is expanded out by opening the handle and pushing out the toothed jaw. You then have to adjust the width to enclose the lid of the jar you are opening, clasp the handle shut so that the toothed jaw can't open and then try to force open the jar lid. It works with three sets of small metal teeth in the two "jaws" of the device, and not on grippy material like silicone.Of the jars I tried, I found that the opener managed to open them, but sometimes it took many attempts. The main problem is to close the handle without letting the toothed jaw move and become loose against the jar lid. Once you master that, the device works reasonably well. Until you master that, you end up with scratched up jar lids that stay on the jar without budging. If the jar lid is stuck on very tight, this probably won't do the trick, and an opener with a silicone grip will probably be more effective.

Very sturdy and easy to use. Adjusts to many lid sizes. Has a magnet to help remove lids or cling to the side of the fridge. Nice grip and more features than I will use.

This tool has a lot of different functions but it was not intuitive to use. Only thing I can figure out was the bottle opener! I could see the cockscrew but that was not a preferred (easy) way to open wine bottles. I wanted to use it for very large jars, the ones you get from wholesale clubs. Unfortunately I did not read the max dimensions closely; this stopped just short of the 4" lid of my jar of artichoke hearts. Tried it with smaller jars that fit, but again it was not easy to use.

I have a mild case of arthritis, and this jar opener has been very helpful. It has an easy grip, which I appreciate, and it fits well on the jar lids. I've bought other jar openers before, and none really works well, it doesn't fit on different sizes, but this one does. I love it that it can open other products and not just jars, it can open bottles, cans, wine bottles. Overall, very satisfied with the product.

I purchased this product because it has multi-functions. It can open Jaws bottles wines and it's also a can opener. It's lightweight functional affordable an easy to use. I will definitely recommend
